The Fintiba web application provides you with an overview about the current status of each document that you uploaded, the information that you supplied, as well as the overall status of your account opening. The status in the Fintiba web application is always up-to-date and you will automatically receive an email notification, if there are any relevant news.
Note: Special requests regarding the status of your blocked account opening are therefore not necessary and impose additional effort on our support team. Ultimately, this might slow down your account opening as the customer support team - concerning the status of your account opening - can only give the same information as provided in the Fintiba web application.
As soon as a document has been successfully uploaded, you will be notified by a system message that appears at the top of your PC or mobile screen. In addition, the status of the uploaded document will change from "Missing" to "Waiting for Verification".
Nothing has been uploaded and/or saved yet. In order to start the verification process, documents must be uploaded/data must be provided as required.
- Waiting for Verification
The document has been uploaded/data has been saved. The verification process will start as soon as all required documents are "Waiting for verification".
- Verification failed
The verification of the document/data was not successful. Should that be the case, you will have received an email that states what exactly went wrong and how you should proceed.
The document/data has been successfully verified.
As the account opening is processed fully online, the account opening as such is happens rather quickly. Your blocked account opening will usually be processed within one working week and you will then be automatically provided with your account details and further instructions on how and where to transfer the money required. Please note that this mainly depends on how quickly you upload the required documents and information, how readable they are and on how well informed you are about the process of opening a blocked account via Fintiba at Sutor Bank (Max Heinr. Sutor OHG). Therefore, let us kindly advise you to wait with the account opening until you know, that you really need it for your visa application.
I have transferred the money - when will my blocking confirmation be issued?
You do not have to worry about whether your money has already arrived in Germany. As soon as the money arrives here, you'll automatically be notified via email. Just keep checking your email inbox and the Fintiba web application to stay up to date. Please keep in mind that international money transfers can take up to one week (in some special cases even two weeks). Unfortunately, it is not in our power to accelerate this process.
