If eligible, once you have arrived in Germany, please download and print out the 'PostIdent' voucher that is provided in your 'Documents' section and go to a branch of Deutsche Post AG. The 'PostIdent' voucher is a document that you can download from the 'Documents' section of the Fintiba web application.
Note: the PostIdent voucher is essential for completing the legitimation process, as it contains all the information that the Post official needs to process your legitimation. Please print it out and take it to the post office of your choice along with your passport.
When you are in the selected post office, simply contact one of the officials there and ask them to guide you through the 'PostIdent' process in order to complete your legitimation. Please note that without this legitimation, your account will remain blocked. This means that you will not be able to access the money on your blocked account as without official legitimation, any transfers requested from the account can not be processed.
