Frankfurt International Bank (FIB) is a fully licensed German bank and our new banking partner. The bank is located in Frankfurt am Main and operates from the same building as Fintiba. This ensures a close and efficient collaboration that guarantees the high quality of service and reliability that you’ve come to expect from us.

What do I need to do to upgrade my Blocked Account?
The process to upgrade your Blocked Account is simple and only takes a few minutes of your time. All you need to do is:
Upload your passport in your Fintiba account
Complete the identity verification process
Once the two steps are completed, your upgrade is finalised and we will notify you once it has been successfully completed.
What happens after I accept the upgrade?
After you accept to upgrade to our new banking partner, you will need to:
Upload your passport in your Fintiba account
Complete the identity verification process
Once the upgrade process begins, you will not be able to do the following until we fully migrate your account to Frankfurt International Bank (FIB):
Set up new payouts
Request a Blocked Account extension
Close your Fintiba account
These restrictions are only temporary and will be lifted once the upgrade process is complete.
Additionally, all remaining monthly fees will be booked before the upgrade process is completed.
Important: If your account has a balance over €18,000, you will be required to go through the full legitimation process again, if more than 24 months have passed since your last legitimation process.
Is my money safe with the new banking partner?
Yes, your money is completely safe with our new banking partner. Frankfurt International Bank (FIB) is a fully licensed German bank and is regulated by BaFin, Germany’s strict financial supervisory authority. Your money is covered by the German Deposit Guarantee Scheme, which protects up to €100,000 per customer.
Additionally, all data is handled in line with the European GDPR requirements, ensuring maximum privacy and security for your personal information as well.
