Welcome to Germany! You can now access your blocked amount by following 4 simple steps:
- Upload your visa or equivalent document in your Fintiba account that our team will verify. Also provide your German address.
- Complete your legitimation process, including additional legitimation.
- Open a current account. It is important to understand that your blocked account with our bank partner FIB is not a regular bank account, and you cannot pay your expenses or make withdrawals directly from your blocked account. You can do that only by:
- Opening a current account at any bank of your choice in the SEPA region that provides you with an IBAN. We provide you all the required information and options for opening a current account here.
- Useful information:
- If you haven't yet, connect your mobile phone number to your Fintiba account.
- Setting up monthly payouts from your blocked account to your current account in your Fintiba app (Blocked Account > Blocked Account Payouts) by providing your current account details and the mTAN code that we will send you.
After completing these steps, you will receive all necessary instructions to receive your monthly payouts. The above procedure also applies to the Blocked Account for Minors.
